Alioto‑Tournahu is a family‑run winery in the St. Helena AVA of Napa Valley, producing small‑production Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon exclusively from the historic Tournahu Vineyard just north of St. Helena—a storied site whose Cabernet has earned multiple high‑90s critical scores. Our vineyard lies on an alluvial fan of gravel, clay, and river rocks with exceptional drainage, a Perkins terroir that recalls top Bordeaux estates while capturing St. Helena’s warm. Each wine is crafted to express this singular site with clarity, finesse, and graceful restraint, preserving the distinct character of Tournahu Vineyard in every vintage.
The collaboration among our special parcel of land, St. Helena's distinctive climate, winemaker Rich Frederick, and Master Sommelier Nunzio Alioto has brought our dream to fruition. Our wines stand as a heartfelt homage to George and Evelyn Tournahu.

Get on the list
Tournahu Vineyard has long been a quiet force in St. Helena — a small, gravelly site planted to Cabernet Sauvignon clones 7, 15, and 169, and Sauvignon Blanc, whose wines have consistently powered mid to high‑90‑point bottlings celebrated for their depth, precision, and unmistakable character.
After years of watching others bring its potential to life, our family now has the privilege of crafting wines that tell the story of this vineyard. Our membership offers access to the limited production born from this land — an invitation to experience a vineyard with a proven legacy of excellence, now expressed by the Alioto‑Tournahu family, who has farmed it from the beginning.
Our Vineyard
Our beginning is rooted in 1976 when George and Evelyn Tournahu purchased a small vineyard in the heart of St. Helena, Napa Valley.
